11+ Preparation Classes

Year 5 – Full 11+ Preparation (1 Year)
(September-September)
CONTENT: The course prepares children in Verbal Activity, Non-verbal Reasoning, Maths and English for the 11+ examination.
WHO IS IT FOR? Year 5 students (9 to 10 years)
(January – September)
CONTENT: The course prepares children in Verbal Activity, Non-verbal Reasoning, Maths and English for the 11+ examination. WHO IS IT FOR? Year 5 students (9 to 10 years). This is an intensive course for students who have missed the start of the earlier courses but still wish to join later in the year.

 

 

Common Entrance for Independent Schools
(September – January)
CONTENT: The Course runs from September to January and covers English (Creative Writing and Comprehension skills), General Knowledge and Interview Technique, Verbal Activity and Advanced Mathematics. This course prepares children for the following examinations:
• Independent school 11+ and Common Entrance Examinations sat in January
• Independent school 13+ and Common Entrance Examinations sat in Summer
WHO IS IT FOR? Years 6 – 8 students (11 to 13 years)

Year 4 Foundation Class
(September – July)
CONTENT: The course covers English, Maths, Verbal Activity and Non-verbal Reasoning in preparation for a full one year 11+ course in Year 5.
WHO IS IT FOR? Year 4 students (8 to 9 years)

Year 3 Foundation Class
(September – July)
CONTENT: The course helps children prepare for the 11+ at a more gradual pace. It focuses on English and Maths.
WHO IS IT FOR? Year 3 students (7 to 8 years)

 

KS2/KS1
We prepare children for the KS1 exam in year 2 and KS2 in year 6. Children who finish 11+ can continue with KS2 preparation.

 

GCSE
